Town 19 in Sunday\'s FA Cup Draw - Ipswich Town News

Town are number 19 in the FA Cup third round draw, which takes place this Sunday at 3.55pm after the live TV game between Kettering Town and Leeds United on ITV1.

The draw will be carried out by Olympic rower Sir Steven Redgrave and Kelly Smith of the England women’s side, who are both ambassadors for England's 2018 World Cup bid. Third round ties take place on the weekend of January 2nd.

Meanwhile, Town refused Brentford permission to play on-loan defender Pim Balkestein in their 1-0 victory over Walsall. Striker Kevin Lisbie was in the Colchester side which won 1-0 at Hereford, while Jack Ainsley's Rushden are already out. The defender is still to make an appearance for his loan club.

Elsewhere, the Town squad and manager Roy Keane were at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium to watch the rugby union international between Wales and Australia on Saturday evening ahead of Sunday's game against Cardiff City.
