Yao Keeping Mum On Town Deal - Ipswich Town News

Town are continuing contract talks with trialist Devann Yao’s agent — his mum. The American wide midfielder impressed during his trial at Portman Road, scoring once and setting another in the recent 2-2 friendly draw with Celtic.

Manager Roy Keane said: "We’re chatting with him. He’s got a very good agent, his agent is his mother, she’s looking after his interests.

"When I spoke to him last week I told him he’d done really well and we’re keen to give him something to the end of the season and he said to speak to his agent. I said, ‘Do you trust him?’ and he said, ‘Yes, it’s my mother’.”

The 19-year-old http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=15598>was previously a schoolboy with Metz in France and also spent time with Italian sides Livorno and Pisa as well as Scottish club St Mirren.
