Boys of 81 Reunion - Ipswich Town News

Town's 81 heroes are to meet up again this summer to celebrate their achievements 20 years on. The August 30th party will coincide with the opening of the new Galleria restaurant in the South Stand.

Bobby Robson will be attending and so far only Mich D'Avray has said he can't make it. All those involved with the club at the time are invited to attend with around 200 expected to turn-out.

Town hope to borrow the UEFA Cup from Liverpool for the occasion while cabaret is to be provided by Bob 'the Cat' Bevan. A seven-minute video highlighting the UEFA Cup achievement will also be shown.

In 1998 there was a reunion of the 1978 FA Cup-winning side at the Corn Exchange.
