Last summer Town coach Tony Mowbray tipped Titus Bramble to make a big impact on the 2000/01 season. The centre-half did indeed that and Mogga's picks for the future must be taken seriously.
This year he is particularly hopeful that Jermaine Wright will score more goals from midfield and that new Spaniard Pablo Couñago can settle in and show what he is capable of.
From last year's reserve regulars Mowbray sees a number of players who could make an impression. Nabil Abidallah, Justin Miller and Ashley Nicholls. Of the Dutchman Mowbray said: "Nabil has to be looking to be getting involved, pushing on. He has got to show a responsibility when he is on the ball but he has got the balance of making the right decisions and passing."
Last year's U17s did well, but Mowbray doesn't expect them to feature in the first team this season: "The other thing is we will be looking to see if those from last season's U17s, who were so strong last year, can progress, maybe not into the first team but into the reserves because there is a lot of talent there."
