West Ham in for Scowy - Ipswich Town News
TWTD has learnt that Town may have received a bid for James Scowcroft from West Ham. This could be the reason behind the stalling of the deal with Leicester City.
Glenn Roeder's club are thought to have expressed an interest in the Town striker even prior to Paul Goddard deciding to move to Upton Park as first team coach yesterday.
The bid from West Ham, and any further bids that Town receive, could well push Scowcroft's value above the £3.5 million level of Leicester's bid.
