Leicester City are confident that Sunday’s game at the Walkers Stadium will go ahead despite the snow and ice. The pitch should be fine as the Foxes have undersoil heating, while they are working on ensuring that the stands and roads and car parks around the ground are free of ice and snow.
Leicester’s head of operations Kevin Barclay said: "At the moment, the stands are free of water and we have got grit ready to be deployed if necessary and personnel available to carry out the work. We are prepared and ready."
Meanwhile, the Foxes are hoping that former Blue Wayne Brown and Swiss defender Bruno Berner will be back from injury in time to face Town. Brown has been suffering with a muscle strain, while Berner has a calf problem.
