Healy Set to Complete Falkirk Move Today - Ipswich Town News

Midfielder Colin Healy is expected to undergo a medical and complete his loan move to Falkirk later today. Some reports yesterday claimed the switch had already gone through but Bairns boss Eddie May says the formalities are still to be completed.

Speaking yesterday, May said: "A deal has been agreed with Colin. He will have his medical and hopefully be training with us tomorrow. I don't envisage any problems.

"I'm delighted to get him. We have been tracking him for a long time and we have thankfully got the money to bring him in after the club came up with the finances.

"He is a very focused individual, very dedicated to succeeding. I don't just want to add numbers here, if I can bring in decent quality I will and Colin has that ability.

"He will play for us at Celtic on Saturday. I'm sure he'll be looking forward to going back to Parkhead, even though he played for Celtic a long time ago. But that shows he has the ability to play at a very good level."

Healy, who was also targeted by Livingstone and a number of other clubs, will join Falkirk on loan until the end of the season.

The Irishman, who joined the Blues for €100,000 from Cork City in the summer, has made only five appearances for Town this season.
