Town's pre-season tour got off to a winning start with a 4-2 victory over Tampere with the goals coming from Pablo Couñago, Marcus Stewart, Martijn Reuser and Tommy Miller.

Town started with Keith Branagan in goal and went ahead in the seventh minute when Couñago headed in a Reuser cross.

The second came through Stewart before Tampere scored. Reuser added a third through a penalty.
