Town's pre-season tour got off to a winning start with a 4-2 victory over Tampere with the goals coming from Pablo Couñago, Marcus Stewart, Martijn Reuser and Tommy Miller.
Town started with Keith Branagan in goal and went ahead in the seventh minute when Couñago headed in a Reuser cross.
The second came through Stewart before Tampere scored. Reuser added a third through a penalty.
The game, played in a lot of rain and in humid conditions, saw both sides score in the second half, sub Tommy Miller hitting a long-range effort in the 86th minute.
Town made several substituions, Couñago coming off at half-time and youngster Darren Bent coming on for his first taste of first team football towards the end.
