Burley on Win - Ipswich Town News
George Burley has commented on tonight's 4-2 win over Tampere United. Goals from new men Pablo Couñago and Tommy Miller, plus a goal from Marcus Stewart and a penalty from Martijn Reuser got pre-season off to the best start possible.
Burley said: "George Burley said of the victory: "It was an excellent game. Tampere are a very good side, they are the league leaders, and we had left a few of our regular first-team players out. I was delighted to see Pablo and Tommy score on their debuts and very pleased with the all-round performance. We didn't pick up any fresh injuries which was also a good thing."
Town play VPS in their second game on Saturday.
