Priskin Again Linked With QPR - Ipswich Town News

Striker Tamás Priskin is again being linked with a loan move to QPR, despite Roy Keane insisting that the Hungarian is staying at Portman Road on Friday. Priskin and former Blue Marcus Bent, who is currently with Birmingham, are claimed to be joining the west London club before Monday’s 5pm deadline.

On Friday, Keane confirmed that there had been interest in the £1.7 million summer signing from Watford but said that he would remain a Town player: "Tamás is going nowhere. He’s staying at the football club. I think the boy deserves a chance, I think the boy’s a talented player.”

Meanwhile, we understand that central defender Alex Bruce was at Leicester's 0-0 home draw with Newcastle on Saturday evening to complete the formalities of his loan move to the Foxes, as first revealed on TWTD yesterday.

Elsewhere, ex-Town defender Chris Casement has joined Linfield back in his native Northern Ireland on loan for the rest of the season from Dundee, who he moved to in the summer after being released by the Blues.

Hull City manager Phil Brown says reported Blues target Kevin Kilbane won’t be leaving the KC Stadium: "Any bid for Kevin is news to me. Kevin is a great asset to the football club at the moment, he's a great professional.

"A player of his temperament, his experience and his versatility to play in a number of positions is going to be invaluable to us between now and the end of the season."
