The Blues have been awarded The Football League Family Excellence Award for the third successive season. The Blues are amongst 17 sides to have won the award every year since its inception in 2007, while 20 other clubs have been given the award this year.
This gong recognises the matchday experience provided for young fans and families based on an independent assessment of all 72 League clubs.
Town chief executive Simon Clegg, who travelled to the QPR game on an official supporters’ coach, said: "Ipswich Town prides itself on being a friendly, welcoming family club and the award is further recognition of that.”
Football League chairman Lord Mawhinney added: "The Football League Family Excellence Award provides a benchmark for clubs to work towards and ensures that they are doing all they can to attract and retain family groups as supporters. League clubs are working hard to make the family experience the best it can be.”
