Scaloni Absent from Deportivo Training - Ipswich Town News
Spanish speculation on the future of Lionel Scaloni has increased after the Argentinian failed to make Deportivo's first day of pre-season training yesterday. The 23-year-old midfielder failed to appear as the rest of the squad started their preparations 2001/02 season.
Whether this means he is set to join Town is anybody's guess and Spanish sources do suggest that there may have been a problem with flights and/or confusion due to a lack of information from Deportivo.
With Town returning from Finland and Estonia we should know sooner rather than later who George Burley's targets actually are.
