Reserves Face Wycombe at Training Ground - Ipswich Town News
This afternoon’s reserve game against Wycombe Wanderers has switched from Portman Road to Playford Road due to the heavy rain over the last few days.
The Portman Road pitch is still recovering from the damage caused during the recent FA Youth Cup game against Fulham, which was played in sodden conditions, and the club are keen to avoid any repetition.
The match, which kicks off at 2pm, could see Richard Wright return to action with boss Roy Keane last week revealing that he had pencilled the keeper in for this game. Wright has been out since November with a knee ligament injury.
