Wright Undergoes Scan - Ipswich Town News
Full-back David Wright underwent a scan yesterday on an ankle injury which has been hampering in recent weeks.
The 29-year-old has started Town’s last two matches at right-back in place of the ill Liam Rosenior, having been at left-back for much of the season.
Meanwhile, striker David Healy says he was perhaps not doing himself justice in training while with Sunderland earlier this season: "When I was training with Sunderland this season I knew deep down that I wasn't going to play.
"It's easy to let your standards drop in those circumstances although I shouldn't have let it happen. I let myself down a little bit, but I'd been out in the cold for so long.”
The Northern Irishman says he expects the Blues to move further away from the relegation zone in the weeks to come: "You only have to look at the manager and players to see what Ipswich is capable of. I'm convinced we will not be in trouble by the end of the season.”
