On-loan striker Jon Stead says he will make a decision on his future in the summer. The 26-year-old is at Coventry City until the end of the season and scored his first goal for the Sky Blues in their 2-1 victory over Scunthorpe at the weekend.
Stead, who is contracted to the Blues until June 2011, says he won’t consider whether make his move to the Ricoh Arena permanent until the summer: "Things are up in the air until the end of the season.
"I don't want to make a decision until the end of the season because I think that's the right thing to do.
"But I want to forget about that decision for a couple of months and enjoy my football."
Meanwhile, Bedworth United centre-half Danny Miley is reported to have spent time on trial with Town recently. Miley, whose current side play in the Zamaretto Midlands League Division One, was previously with Aston Villa before joining the army and serving in Iraq.
The 22-year-old is now on trial at Burton Albion, having had a similar spell with Crewe in addition to his time with the Blues.
