Newcastle Game Won\'t Switch to Monday - Ipswich Town News
Town have confirmed that the game at Newcastle United scheduled for Saturday 24th April will not be moved to the following Monday for Sky coverage.
The satellite broadcaster announced that they were screening an unnamed game on the Monday, leading to rumours that the Blues’ match at St James’ Park would be the chosen fixture.
However, that won’t be the case with a club spokesman confirming that Sky have ruled out moving the Town match to the Monday: "We have received a number of enquiries from fans about the possibility of the game at Newcastle being switched to the Monday but we understand from Sky that we are definitely playing on the Saturday."
