Keane-Mowbray Swap Claim - Ipswich Town News
Roy Keane and Tony Mowbray could be about to swap jobs, according to one of this morning’s tabloids. Keane’s position at Town has increasingly become the subject of speculation over the last few days, while Mowbray left his role as Celtic manager on Thursday.
The not entirely convincing report claims that Keane is wanted by the Bhoys and that Town see former skipper and coach Mowbray as his successor.
After Saturday’s game at Swansea, Keane, who played for Celtic in the final days of his career, showed no signs of looking to leave the Blues: "I'm very proud to be manager of Ipswich and, please God, that will continue.”
