Clegg: I\'m Still Backing Keane - Ipswich Town News
Chief executive Simon Clegg has insisted that manager Roy Keane still has his backing despite continuing speculation that the Blues boss is set to lose his job. Several reports this morning claim Keane will be dismissed as soon as this week.
Clegg said: "I'm still fully committed to Roy Keane. It has been a disappointing season, but Roy is still building his team.
"I understand there have been some speculation stories, but Roy is just starting out to get us where we want to be.”
Meanwhile, speculation regarding Keane and the Celtic job vacated by Tony Mowbray last week also continues in this morning’s papers.
