Scowcroft at Norwich - Ipswich Town News
James Scowcroft watched Leicester draw 2-2 with Norwich City yesterday and will talk with the midlands club early this week.
The 25-year-old's £3.5 million deal is expected to be completed shortly afterwards.
Leicester manager Peter Taylor said: "We've spoken but I haven't yet had the chance to have a sit down chat with the player and his agent and I hope to do that on Monday or Tuesday. There are one or two potential stumbling blocks to be sorted out - but I am very confident that the deal will go through."
Taylor added: "I'm looking for a front man who can hold the ball up and Scowy fits the bill perfectly. Hopefully we can sort everything out next week."
