Eastman Given One-Year Deal - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands that academy central defender Tom Eastman has been offered a one-year professional contract by the Blues. The Clacton-based youngster was on the bench at Derby on Monday and is tipped to make his first team debut by the end of the season.
The 6ft 3in tall 18-year-old has impressed for both the U18s and the reserves this season with manager Roy Keane recently singling him out for praise.
Last Thursday Keane revealed that he would tell all the club's second-year scholars whether they were being kept on this week.
