Colback Players\' Player of the Year - Ipswich Town News
Loanee midfielder Jack Colback was named Town’s Players’ Player of the Year at this evening’s Players’ Awards Evening held at Milsoms in Kesgrave. The Sunderland man also picked up the Goal of the Season award for his early strike at Blackpool in the FA Cup.
Jaime Peters won the Most Improved Player of the Year award, while Gareth McAuley picked up the boxholders and sponsors gong in front of more than 150 corporate guests, boss Roy Keane, chief executive Simon Clegg and the playing and coaching staff.
Centre-half Tom Eastman won the Academy Player of the Year. The Clacton-based youngster has been in the first team squad in recent weeks and looks likely to make his debut before the end of the season.
