Scowcroft Deal Tied Up - Ipswich Town News
Leicester City have called a Tuesday morning press conference to announce their signing of James Scowcroft. The striker was at Filbert Street today and has agreed personal terms.
Leicester manager Peter Taylor said: "Once we agreed the fee with Ipswich the deal was done pretty quickly. We've spoken to James today and he's very keen on coming here. He's just the player we're after and he will undoubtedly strengthen us up front."
Scowcroft will be officially paraded in front of the press tomorrow at 11am.
Scowcroft made 200 starts with Town, plus another 48 as sub, and scored 55 goals. He made his debut against Wolves in 1995.
