Keane Looking to End on a High Note - Ipswich Town News

Boss Roy Keane says he wants the Blues to end the season on a high when Sheffield United come to Portman Road on Sunday (KO 1pm). The Town manager says more of the club’s youngsters may be given a run-out against the Blades.

Keane told the club site: "Our fans have been magnificent this season. We have not given them much to shout about this year but hopefully we can finish the season on a winning note with three points against Sheffield United.

"One of the positives from this season has been the progress of one or two of our younger players.

"Connor has obviously made great strides forward. Shane O'Connor has come in and done well and Billy Clark has had a look in our last two games. One or two of the other youngsters may get a chance on Sunday as well."

Keane has been back in Ireland today launching the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind’s Shades fundraising campaign. The Blues boss, who is a patron of the charity, also gave a lengthy interview with TV3, which can be viewed here.
