Balkestein to Miss Final Game - Ipswich Town News
Defender Pim Balkestein will miss his loan club Brentford's final game of the season against Hartlepool after undergoing surgery on the nose injury he sustained during last week's defeat at Swindon.
The 23-year-old Dutchman is out of contract at the end of the season and has been told he will not be offered new terms by the Blues.
Brentford are interested in signing him on a permanent basis, while the former Heerenveen man is considering a move back to Holland.
