Wickham in England Squad for Euros - Ipswich Town News
Striker Connor Wickham has been named in the England squad for the European U17 Championship being held in Liechtenstein later this month. The frontman, who is understood to be the subject of a £5 million bid from Spurs, has previously scored five goals in eight games at U17 level.
England start their group matches with a game against the Czech Republic on Tuesday 18th May, then take on Greece three days later and finally Turkey on 24th May.
The two top teams in the group go through to the semi-finals where they will face France, Spain, Portugal or Switzerland. The final will be played on Sunday 30th May.
