Come to Norway! - Ipswich Town News

The Norwegian Blues are inviting all fellow Town fans to their Supporters Cup tournament next month. The Norwegians are looking for players and supporters for the Oslo-based competition, which takes place on Saturday 5th June.

The tournament, which is run by the Supporterunionen for Britisk Fotball, is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is a six-a-side competition involving 44 teams, all made up of Norwegian supporters of British clubs.

This year’s tournament is being held at the Snarøya Sportsklubb with an evening event taking place at the Tempest nightclub in downtown Oslo. The guest of honour during this year’s tournament is ex-West Ham, Manchester City and Brann player Trevor Morley.

If you’re interested in playing or just going along to watch, send the Ipswich Town Supporters Club of Norway an email for more details: post@ipswich.no. If you’re interested in playing, give them a shout before June 2nd.
