Duo Called Into Ireland Squad - Ipswich Town News

Town duo Ronan Murray (pictured) and Ian McLoughlin have been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for their European U19 Championship elite qualifying group games in Ukraine later this month.

Striker Murray and keeper McLoughlin will hope to be involved when the Irish youngsters face England in Kiev on Wednesday 26th May, then hosts Ukraine two days later in Borodinka and finally Bosnia-Herzegovina, also in Kiev, on Sunday 31st May.

Murray has previously won 11 caps at U19 level, while McLoughlin made his debut in the first of two recent friendlies with Poland. Both players have been offered new one-year contracts by the Blues, in Murray's case his first professional deal.
