Wickham and England Through to Semi-Finals - Ipswich Town News
Striker Connor Wickham played the full 80 minutes as England’s U17s beat Greece 1-0 to reach the semi-finals of the European U17 Championships in Liechtenstein.
Wickham had a number of chances but all too often took too long to unleash his shot. Everton’s Ross Barkley netted the only goal of the game.
England complete their group matches with a game against Turkey on Monday but are already through to a semi-final next Thursday.
