Target Derry Set for QPR - Ipswich Town News
Town target Shaun Derry is set to be reunited with his former Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock at QPR, according to reports in south London. Blues boss Roy Keane saw the 32-year-old as the ideal man to bring experience and know-how to his side.
However, it appears Derry, who is out of contract at the end of June, has instead opted to move from Selhurst Park to Loftus Road, along with former Blue Darren Ambrose, who is currently in talks with the Superhoops, and left-back Clint Hill. Derry also briefly played under Warnock at Sheffield United.
Keane is looking to add "four or five” players to his squad over the summer with experienced Championship campaigners in the Derry mould very much on his wish-list.
