Town Win Conferencing Gong - Ipswich Town News
Town’s conference and banqueting department won the bronze award in the Official Football Hospitality Awards at Wigan's DW Stadium last week. The club received the gong for their upcoming 2010 World Cup events at Portman Road.
Town have teamed up with Suffolk Chamber of Commerce to offer local companies and groups the chance to watch England’s three World Cup group games at Portman Road. Full details can be found here.
The club’s conference and banqueting sales executive Donna Talbot said: "We are really pleased to receive such recognition for our events. We have worked really hard to create a package which was attractive to our customers and we are delighted the hard work has paid off.”
The Blues were beaten into third place by winners Leicester City and runners-up Aston Villa.
