Town Up Chopra Offer - Ipswich Town News
Town are understood to have made an increased offer of £3.75 million to Cardiff for striker Michael Chopra. The former Sunderland man is Roy Keane’s number one striking target as he looks to end the Blues’ goalscoring woes.
Chopra played for Keane at Sunderland and the Town boss is a huge admirer of the 26-year-old, who started his career at Newcastle.
The Blues were reported to have made an initial offer of £3 million, subsequently raising their bid to £3.5 million and now £3.75 million.
Keane is believed to be looking to pair Chopra, who is valued at £4 million by the Bluebirds, with Connor Wickham next season.
