Town in Cricketing Action - Ipswich Town News
The Town squad will play a Twenty20 cricket match against Ipswich and East Suffolk at Chantry Park on Friday 23rd July (6.15pm). The Blues were previously in cricketing action during pre-season in 2007 and 2008.
The match will raise funds for the Suffolk Cancer Campaign, one of the club’s nominated charities.
Entrance will be free with car parking off London Road leading on to the park. Refreshments will be available and there will be a chance to meet the players and staff.
Two nights previously, Ipswich and East Suffolk play another Twenty20 match involving the Ipswich Witches speedway team. Proceeds from that match will go to paralysed former Witches rider Kim Jansson.
