Released keeper Richard Wright says he still has what it takes to play in the Premier League. The 32-year-old is understood to have held talks with West Ham regarding a possible return to Upton Park, while League One Charlton have also been linked.
Wright said: "I still believe I can play at the highest level and know I can get back there. There has been a lot of interest but nothing concrete.
"My plan when I came back to Ipswich was to get back into the Premier League. I was dropping down to a club who were heading in the right direction, but it doesn't always work out.
"Hopefully, it will be a fresh start and exciting times for me. I believe in my own ability.
"It has been a frustrating year because of injury, but I cannot wait for a new challenge."
Wright started last season as the Blues' first choice, but lost his place after a number of costly errors. On his return to the side after loanee Asmir Begovic's departure, he picked up a knee ligament injury at Cardiff and despite making a swift recovery never returned to the team.
Meanwhile, former Blues boss Jim Magilton is understood to have been interviewed for the manager's job at Plymouth. Ex-Town striker Paul Mariner moved into a coaching role at Home Park at the end of the season, having taken control of the Pilgrims for much of 2009/10.
