Pim on Trial in Germany - Ipswich Town News
Released defender Pim Balkestein is on trial with German second division side Fortuna Düsseldorf. The 23-year-old left Portman Road at the end of the season and is being chased by former loan side Brentford and a number of unnamed Dutch sides.
Earlier in the week, Brentford boss Andy Scott said he was continuing his pursuit of the central defender: "We are still looking at Pim, who has a few options both here and abroad and we should get an answer in the next few weeks.”
