Carson on Standby for Northern Ireland - Ipswich Town News
Academy midfielder Josh Carson is on standby for the Northern Ireland U20 squad ahead of the Milk Cup tournament in his home country later this month. Carson, 17, has previously won caps at U17 and U16 levels but this is his first link with a higher age group.
Northern Ireland face Mexico on Monday 26th July at the Showgrounds, Coleraine and then China at the Riada Stadium, Ballymoney on the following Wednesday. Play-off games are scheduled for the Friday.
