Wickham Confirms Injury and Norris Also Sidelined - Ipswich Town News
Striker Connor Wickham has confirmed that he will be out of action for six weeks with an ankle injury. Midfielder David Norris is also currently sidelined with a back problem, which means he will miss the midweek friendlies at Leiston and Bury Town.
Wickham told the club site: "I took a shot at goal and felt my ankle give way. It's very frustrating and it looks like I will be out for six weeks."
Manager Roy Keane says Norris has a back problem: "Chuck is a concern for us as well. He's got a stiff back and you have to be careful with that type of problem.
”He won't play over the next few days and will be touch and go for the West Ham game at the weekend."
Town sides are at Leiston this evening and Bury Town on Wednesday (both 7.45pm).
