Garvan and Hourihane Called Up - Ipswich Town News
Midfielders Owen Garvan and Conor Hourihane have been called up to the Republic of Ireland U21 squad for their 2011 European Championship qualifier against Estonia next month.
The call means the pair will miss Town’s Carling Cup tie at Exeter which is the same night as the Estonia game. Full-back Shane O'Connor is on standby for the squad.
Garvan has captained the U21s a number of times and has won 15 caps, scoring four goals, while Hourihane is yet to make his debut at this level but was a regular in the U19s.
