Civelli Knock Not Serious - Ipswich Town News
Boss Roy Keane says the knock midfielder Luciano Civelli suffered in Tuesday’s friendly at Leiston is nothing serious. The Argentinian limped off after only six minutes of Town’s 2-0 win against the Ridgeons League side having been on the end of a heavy challenge to the knee which suffered the multi-ligament injury from which the 23-year-old has just returned.
Keane said: "He’ll probably be out for 10 days or two weeks maximum. He’s just jarred it a little bit.
"I saw the tackle, you get hundreds of tackles like that in a game and he’s just landed a bit awkwardly, but he should be OK.
"When a player comes back from a long-term injury everyone tends to panic and get a bit worried, but it’s straightforward and he should be OK in a couple of weeks.”
