Town Set to Complete Fülöp Move - Ipswich Town News
Town are expected to complete the signing of keeper Márton Fülöp this morning. The Hungarian international is understood to have undergone a medical yesterday with personal terms and a £750,000 fee already agreed.
The 27-year-old is not expected to play in this evening’s friendly with a Spurs XI, but is likely to be in the squad for Saturday’s opening fixture of the season at Middlesbrough.
Meanwhile, Town are reportedly one of a number of clubs interested in Leicester frontman Matty Fryatt, who is expected to leave the Walkers Stadium. The Blues, Wigan, Wolves and Hull are all said to be chasing the £1.5 million-rated striker, although Town’s number one target remains Cardiff’s Michael Chopra.
