Fülöp Move Set to Go Through Wednesday - Ipswich Town News
Town are now expected to complete the signing of Sunderland keeper Márton Fülöp on Wednesday, despite newspaper reports linking Fulham with a move for the Hungarian international.
The Cottagers are said to have expressed an interest in the 27-year-old, but new manager Mark Hughes is now confident that he will keep Mark Schwarzer, who had been linked with Arsenal and who Fülöp had been ear-marked to replace: "We are in a position where we don't have to sell our better players.
"We want to progress and we are not in the position of letting our best players leave. Mark falls into that category.”
