Draw for Welsh Duo - Ipswich Town News
Academy duo Elliot Scotcher (pictured) and Jack Simmons won Wales U17 caps on Monday afternoon as their side drew a friendly 1-1 with Estonia in Tallinn. Both Town youngsters started the game.
Midfielder Scotcher, who joined the Town youth set-up as a full-time scholar from Cardiff this summer, was recently involved with the Wales U17s at a friendly tournament in Sweden, while schoolboy striker Simmons was winning his first cap at this level, having previously played for the U16s.
Cardiff City's Gethyn Hill netted the Welsh goal. The teams play another friendly on Wednesday afternoon, also in Tallinn.
