London Calling? - Ipswich Town News

The charms of the bright lights seem to be affecting our young stars more than ever today with reports earlier of Richard Wright making a move to Chelsea now being joined by speculation that the Kieron Dyer to West Ham rumours may actually have some substance in them. After weeks of gossip linking Dyer with Leeds, Liverpool, Middlesbrough, Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle and just about anyone else in the Premiership with a few quid to spend, it seems that West Ham might be where Kieron starts next season. Harry Redknapp has been a long-term admirer of the England U21 international and even said he would have taken him to France '98. Redknapp also finds himself with a load of cash and a hole in midfield to fill after Eyal Berkovic's move to Celtic this week.

The summer has been fairly quiet for Town so far with George Burley having to wait until Dyer is sold in order to know what he has to spend. COuld we see our close season excitement kick-off in earnest next week?
