Carson on Target for Northern Ireland - Ipswich Town News
Academy midfielder Josh Carson netted for Northern Ireland’s U18s yesterday as they drew 2-2 with Ukraine at the Syrenka Tournament in Poland. Northern Ireland lost a penalty shoot-out.
Carson, who was on the bench for the recent Carling Cup tie at Exeter, is one of three Town players with the Northern Irish squad at the tournament with defender Rory McKeown and midfielder Cormac Burke also in the travelling party.
Earlier in the week Northern Ireland’s youngsters began the competition with a 4-3 defeat to Belarus.
