O\'Dea Injured in Ireland Training - Ipswich Town News
Loanee Town defender Darren O’Dea picked up a knee injury in training with the Republic of Ireland squad in Dublin this morning and is considered a doubt for their Euro 2012 qualifiers against Armenia and Andorra. O’Dea has been hugely impressive at left-back since joining the Blues on loan from Celtic earlier this month.
The 23-year-old was taken to hospital to undergo scans after suffering a heavy knock during this morning’s training session.
O’Dea, who spent time with Reading last season, is on loan with the Blues until January.
