U18s Face Leicester - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s are in action against Leicester City at the Foxes' Belvoir Drive training ground over lunchtime (KO noon). The Blues youngsters will be looking for their first win of the season.
So far this year the senior academy side has lost 5-0 at Wolves and drawn 2-2 with Leeds United.
Town have received international clearance to field Northern Irish midfielder Cormac Burke and Republic of Ireland U16 international goalkeeper Conor O’Donnell. The duo were amongst this summer's new academy recruits.
Northern Ireland U17 internationals Josh Carson and Rory McKeown are back from the Syrenka Tournament in Poland.
