Town’s U18s face Aston Villa at their Bodymoor Heath training ground this lunchtime (KO noon). The Blues youngsters are looking for their first win of the season having lost two and drawn one up to now.
Summer recruit Cody Cropper is still away with the US U20 squad at a four-team tournament in Peru. Keeper Cropper picked up a cap on Wednesday as his side lost 2-0 to Colombia.
Cropper, who missed the first game which ended in a 5-0 loss to Paraguay, was given little chance with a penalty and a top corner rocket.
