Team News for Sunderland - Ipswich Town News

Town have few injury worries ahead of Saturday's game with Sunderland. Definitely out is Andy Marshall with Keith Branagan or AN Other New Signing his replacement.

Elsewhere Mark Venus is doubtful with a rib injury while Gary Croft is still recovering from his groin operation.

Matt Holland and Jamie Clapham have both been suffering with knocks but should be OK.

Burley says of the Stadium of Light: "It's a tremendous stadium to visit. They have fanatical fans who will be right behind the team and will be a big test, but our away record last season was second to none. We have had a good pre-season though and are raring to go."

Town's boss is looking at things in much the same way as he did last season: "We start the season the same way as last. For a club our size the most important thing is to stay in the Premiership. Our feet are on the ground, it is a tough league and every team has got stronger. It is up to us to prove people wrong but we don't mind what people write, it's what happens on the field that matters".
