Returning loanee Jack Colback says he had no hesitation in joining the Blues for a second loan spell despite interest from a number of other Championship clubs. The Sunderland midfielder, who is 21 on Sunday, is set to make his second debut for Town at Watford on Tuesday.
Colback told the club site: "There were other options but it was a no brainer when I knew Ipswich were interested in me.
"I was treated really well here last season. The manager brought the best out of me so far. I get on well with the players and I like the club, so I had no hesitation when Steve Bruce told me it was OK for me to go out on loan.
"There were other clubs interested but that would have meant trying to settle into new surroundings. I know the club, I know the staff and the players and, having enjoyed my time here last year, that was important.
"Now I'm looking forward to playing some games, although I know I've got to get in the side first and that's going to be difficult because the team is doing well."
