Burley on Peralta Loan Interest - Ipswich Town News

Town have announced that Internazionale's Sixto Peralta is likely to join on a season's loan later this week. The 22-year-old ex-Italian U21 international will arrive in the next couple of days and Town are hopeful that all the details will be ready for him to be included in the squad for Saturday's game with Charlton.

Burley said: "We have been having talks with Inter Milan about bringing Sixto in on loan for the season but nothing has been confirmed as yet. He came for a few days training with us and did very well. He wants to come, and is very enthusiastic, so hopefully things can be sorted out in the next couple of days."

Town's big worries for tonight's game with Derby remain Jim Magilton and John McGreal. Magilton is still feeling the effects of Stefan Schwarz's first half tackle while McGreal has a hamstring problem.

George Burley has a number of options when replacin McGreal with Hermann Hreidarsson moving to the centre the favourite. Fabian Wilnis could come in at right-back and Chris Makin could go to the left. Or Jamie Clapham could come in at left-back. Alternatively Wayne Brown could be given his first Premiership start.

It is probable that Magilton's replacement in central midfield will be Jermanie Wright. FInidi George is likely to move back to hi more familiar midfield role while Pablo Couñago or Alun Armstrong are likely to come into the attack.

Armstrong is now recovered from his recent back problem while Tommy Miller is also ready for selection after missing some of the pre-season games.

With all the building work going on, and fans having to find unfamiliar seats, the club suggests fans arrive as early as possible.

Squad: Sereni, Makin, Hreidarsson, Bramble, Brown, Wright, Reuser, Holland, Couñago, Stewart, George, Naylor, Branagan, Wilnis, Clapham, Bent, Miller, Armstrong, McGreal, Magilton, Salmon.
