Town Linked With Hearts Winger - Ipswich Town News
Town, Swansea and Norwich are keeping an eye on Hearts midfielder David Templeton, according to a report in Scotland this morning. Templeton, 21, netted for the Jambos in last night’s 2-0 SPL victory over Celtic at Tynecastle.
Right winger or striker Templeton joined Hearts from Stenhousemuir in January 2007 for £30,000, having spent time on trial at Newcastle in 2006.
The Glaswegian went on loan to Raith Rovers during the second half of the 2007/08 season and over the last year has established himself as a regular for the Edinburgh side, signing a contract until the summer of 2013 earlier this year.
Templeton, who is 5ft 9in tall, has won two caps at U21 level, having previously represented Scotland’s U17s and U19s.
